Position Summary:

Socfin Agricultural Company is seeking motivated and experienced Tractor Drivers to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital role in our operations by ensuring the efficient transportation of harvested fruits to designated areas. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate logbook records and may be entrusted with additional responsibilities. 

Key Responsibilities

•  Collect and transport Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) from multiple locations to the mill or dry duck.
• Transport company equipment, materials, and authorized personnel to designated destinations.
• Perform assigned agricultural tasks, such as ploughing.
• Plan and execute efficient driving routes to minimize travel time and maximize productivity.
• Abide by all SAC driving policies and procedures, ensuring safety for self and others. 
• Maintain the tractor's cleanliness and ensure it is in good working order.
• Collaborate effectively with other employees to achieve operational goals.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues and other stakeholders.
• Adhere to all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Respect and participate in the implementation of RSPO Principles and Criteria, ISO 14001, and SAC’s Integrated Management System’s continuous improvement. 

Qualification and Experience: 

• Must have a valid driver’s license;
• Handling movement schedules due to the availability of assigned tractor;
• Must be able to communicate in Basic English and Krio (Mende is an added advantage)
• . Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems, such as recordkeeping and filing; 

Ability to work independently; 

• Flexible and adaptable in various situations and when interacting with many different personalities;
• Ability to organise and prioritise tasks when appropriate. 
• Some form of formal education is required (Junior secondary)
