What You'll Do (Simplified)

As a Procurement Officer, you will help ensure that goods and services needed for Jhpiego's health programmes are purchased efficiently, transparently, and in accordance with donor regulations and organizational policies.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Supporting procurement planning based on programme needs.
• Processing purchase requests and ensuring timely procurement.
• Preparing Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Invitations to Bid (ITBs), and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Coordinating supplier selection and bid evaluation processes.
• Preparing purchase orders, contracts, and service agreements.
• Maintaining accurate procurement records for audits and compliance.
• Managing supplier relationships and monitoring vendor performance.
• Working closely with finance and logistics teams to ensure timely payments and delivery of goods.
• Identifying procurement risks and recommending practical solutions.
• Ensuring procurement activities comply with donor and organizational requirements.
