Job Purpose:
The HR Officer – Employee Relations is responsible for maintaining positive relationships between employees and management. The role focuses on handling employee grievances, disciplinary matters, workplace conflict resolution, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Key Responsibilities
• Promote positive employee relations within the organization.
• Act as a liaison between employees and management.
• Provide guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures.
• Receive and investigate employee complaints and grievances.
• Facilitate resolution of workplace conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
• Maintain proper records of grievance cases and resolutions.
• Support managers in handling disciplinary cases in line with company policies.
• Conduct investigations on misconduct and policy violations.
• Prepare disciplinary documentation, including warning letters and reports.
• Ensure employees understand and comply with company policies and regulations.
• Assist in developing and reviewing HR policies related to employee relations.
• Support initiatives that improve employee morale, engagement, and workplace culture.
• Assist in organizing staff meetings, welfare programs, and employee activities.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of employee relations issues and prepare reports.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources, particularly in Employee Relations.
• Good knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
