Condessa Curley, M.D. | Chair

Dr. Condessa Curley earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh, her medical degree from the University of California, Davis School of Medicine, and completed her Family Medicine residency and Maternal and Children’s Health fellowship at the USC Keck School of Medicine/CHMC Family Medicine Residency Program. She also holds a Master of Public Health from UCLA and an MBA from the University of Knoxville, Tennessee. Dr. Curley is board-certified in Family Medicine, a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, a Diplomate of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine, a California Health Care Foundation Fellow alumna, and a 2024 George Mason University Climate Health Equity Fellow. She is also a member of the National Medical Association and has served on the board of the Charles R. Drew Medical Society in Los Angeles.

She currently serves as Medical Director of Clinic Services for one of the nation’s largest public health departments and has played a leading role in Ebola, TB, and COVID-19 outbreak management. A longtime member of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation Board since 2008, she became Chair in 2026. Dr. Curley is also co-founder and CEO of Project Africa Global, a 100% volunteer nonprofit delivering medical, humanitarian, social, and educational services in Africa, Haiti, and the United States. A veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves, she remains deeply committed to improving health and well-being in marginalized communities through sustainable partnerships, programs, and collaboration.
