Skills and Knowledge:

The applicant must also possess the following:
§ Knowledge of Python, SQL, and PHP
§ Knowledge of Linux Server Administration
§ Knowledge of Local and Wide Area Networks and related technologies
§ Database management
§ Windows Server/Desktop Support
§ Excellent problem-solving skills
§ Ability to explain problems and solutions clearly to non-technical users
§ Ability to prioritise, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
§ Patient and methodical approach
§ Ability to self-study new systems

Summary of Duties: |
The ICT Officer will be responsible for managing and supporting the organisation’s ICT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and systems. The role includes system administration (Windows and Linux), application development and support using PHP, PostgreSQL, and Python, user support and training, data security and backups, troubleshooting ICT issues, and ensuring compliance with ICT policies and best practices.
